But how God? How?
Waiting…
“If it is just a good idea, you have to make it happen. When God gives you a vision, there’s a sense in which you stand back and watch it happen. The challenge is that sometimes you have to stand back for a long time. ”

One of the big things weighing on my heart right now is to be a lot more intentional and intensive about learning other languages. In fact, I have a list of 11 languages I would like to learn. And I’m sure that list will grow.
I don’t know how long that will take, but I feel like God is preparing me to talk to and related to people of all sorts of ethnic groups – especially ethnic pastors.
Trusting God…
“Staying vision focused keeps us God focused. The vision is a reminder of our dependency. We remain aware that if God doesn’t do something, there is no going forward. For that reason, people with vision live with a sense of expectancy.
They look for God to do something. They live by faith in the truest sense of the word. That is, they are living as if God is going to do what they believe he has promised to do.”

I’ve been using Rosetta Stone to help me learn Spanish and it’s been great. However, the program, as you know, is pretty expensive. Just to get one program is a minimum of $200. And with my goal of 11 languages, that’s $2200…at a minimum.
But I trust God will help me be able to get those programs for me and fulfill the vision he’s laid on my heart. At the same time, I know I need to be faithful with the program I have now and keep learning every day.
Maintaining the vision…
“Find me a believer who is no longer faithful to the cause of Christ, and I will show you a man or woman who has no vision from God, no sense of divine destiny. Such people have either lost it or never had it.
Visionary believers are marked by their intense faithfulness to their vision and to their Savior. For them, the question of how is not an obstacle. It is simply an opportunity for God to do what he does so well-the impossible.”

I mentioned the goal list that I have. I make it a point to look at it every weekday, so that I can remind myself of the vision, plans, and goals God has laid out for me.
I initially started this list on paper and moved it onto my computer, mainly because my computer is the first thing I turn on when I wake up in the morning.
What’s an impossible vision God’s laid on your heart? Do you trust God to fulfill this vision?
